The Police Pagan Association is able to provide operational advice to the police service, partner agencies, and those who come into contact with or work alongside them.

We are able to advise custody staff in relation to the rights and expectations of Pagan detainiees, as well as explaining the custodial processes to those detained.

The Police Pagan Association is also able to provide a Pagan perspective into certain environmentalist activities, supporting both the Police and those involved in peaceful protest in order to maintain a constructive dialogue which allows the Police service to carry out their duties in an informed and empathetic manner whilst ensuring that Pagans involved in protest do so peacefully and lawfully.

We are often approached by the Police and members of the Pagan community in relation to the possession of or carrying of ritual tools and weapons. The Police Pagan Association can provide advice based on the individual circumstances to ensure that Pagans are not unnecessarily persecuted whilst ensuring that the law is not flouted and and allowing police officers to correctly identify when an offence has been committed.

The use of public space for Pagan rituals can cause concern for local residents; the Police Pagan Association is able to communicate effectively with residents and Police alike to ensure that the community is not unduly affected by Pagan activity whilst maintaining the rights of Pagan religious observation.

The Police Pagan Association can also provide advice into elements of Pagan homelife, such as ritual areas, sudden death and funerary observations, and the handling or seizing of sacred ritual items.

The Police Pagan Association is always available for advice to both operational police staff and the public.

Please contact your FPOC initially, or contact the Police Pagan Association via the CONTACT page.
